JGM was the landscape architect subconsultant on a multi-discipline team that planned an up-grade of Civic Field, the City of Bellingham’s premier sports facility. Completed improvements to Joe Martin Stadium included field underdrainage, regrading, irrigation, and grass sod to better serve the semi-professional, college and high school baseball teams that play there. JGM also worked closely with the prime consultant to reconfigure an existing, featureless parking area into a facility that created an environmentally sustainable parking lot with clear pedestrian and vehicular circulation, way finding features, stormwater treatment and a more park-like appearance.
